English task 1.38

Ever since I was a child people have asked me what I wanna become. Who I wanna become. Schools, jobs? And today the topic is more relevant than ever. I am in an age where I have to decide what I wanna do for the rest of my life. Just saying those words freaks me out. It is definitely the biggest decision I have to make. Ever.

When I was younger I always wanted to become an actor. I wanted to entertain people all over the world. I started to take courses when I was six years old, and the dream of becoming an actress just grew bigger, as I got older. I don't know when I decided not to follow this dream, but I realized that if I wanted to have an OK income, acting was not the way to go. Otherwise I haven't left acting as a hobby, I am a part of a musical-group named “FAME”.

When I comes to work and education I have decided to step behind the camera. I wanna work with commercials. I want to be a part of an agency with a good reputation and be able to create both national and international advertisement. That is why I did choose media, marketing and international English as my subjects at school. I'm not sure where I want to continue my education after high school, but I hope to at least take one year abroad.

The thought of becoming a grownup person gives me a mixed mood. I really look forward to be imperative and have control over my own life. But at the same time it is a bit sad and scary. I have a job today, and I feel like I have been taking a small step out in the life of a grownup person, but there is still a long way to go! I'm looking forward to step out in the “real world”, but I feel frail. Afraid of taking the wrong decisions.

But no matter what I do within five years I hope the decisions I'll make will give me a life and a career I can be satisfied with.

Today the famous couple Lisa Thomlinson and Bradford Wainwright announced their engagement. The proposal took place after a horse racing, where Bradford's horse came in first. To celebrate, the “madly in love” couple went to a expensive restaurant. Here the famous director popped the question, and asked his girlfriend during three month, to marry him. The answer he got was yes! During the press conference Bradford admit that he still has a close relationship with his ex-fiancée, but denying them being anything more than friends. There has also been speculations about Lisa's choice of boyfriend. Is she just using this famous director to get better roles in the future? Anyhow she had problems getting jobs, until she met Bradford. She is denying this claim. Let's hope this lasts longer than Lisa's previous marriage, at 24 hours! Good luck.
